Want to coach in a club where every athlete from a two-year-old in their first gi to a competitive national-level judoka, feels like they belong? That’s Team Numa. And we’re looking for a Developmental Coach to help us keep building it.
About Team Numa Team
Numa Judo and Fitness is the largest judo club in Halifax and Nova Scotia. Founded by Sensei Jason, Numa began as an informal gathering, rolling out mats in a warehouse to teach friends, and has grown into a purpose-built community serving athletes from age two through adulthood. What hasn’t changed is the culture: welcoming, inclusive, high-energy, and built on genuine belonging.
Our programs span the full athlete lifecycle, from tiered youth development, adult judo, specialized technical training, and the JFit fitness program. As an affiliate of Judo Nova Scotia and Judo Canada, Numa supports athletes at every stage, from first day on the mat to regional and national competition.
